How do I book a cleaning service?

You can book directly through our website by selecting your desired service, entering your postcode, and choosing a convenient date and time. For specialized services like deep cleaning or end-of-tenancy cleans, you can request a quote and we’ll follow up to schedule your service.

Yes, you can reschedule or cancel your booking. We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to avoid any cancellation fees.

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the job are free. Less than 48 hours’ notice incurs a 50% fee, and if the cleaner is en route or on-site, the full fee applies.

Not necessarily. If you’re comfortable, you can provide us with access instructions, such as a key safe code or details for a concierge. Rest assured, all our professionals are thoroughly vetted for your peace of mind.

If your cleaner hasn’t arrived as scheduled, please let us know within 3 hours so we can take immediate action. You can reach us through our live chat or by emailing admin@shyftclean.com. Our team will investigate and arrange the best solution as quickly as possible.

What happens if I am unhappy with the domestic cleaning service?

Please kindly contact us within 24 Hours of the service delivery and we will do our best to assist you in any way we can.

Our standard clean covers dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathroom sanitation, kitchen surface cleaning, and general tidying. You can customize your clean by adding services like laundry, ironing, or fridge cleaning during the booking process.

Pricing & Payments

How is pricing determined?

Pricing is based on the type of service, property size, and specific requirements. You can view estimated pricing during the booking process or contact us for a detailed quote.

No, we believe in transparent pricing. All costs will be clearly outlined before you confirm your booking. Any optional add-ons will be presented with their respective prices.

We only accept online card payments. For bespoke services, a £100 deposit is required upon booking, with the remaining balance due upon completion.

How do I get my free clean?

If you book and pay for at least 4 cleaning sessions of 2 hours each within 30 days, you’ll earn a free 2 hour clean the following month. To claim your free clean, just drop us an email at admin@shyftclean.com and we’ll help you schedule your free clean.

Equipment & Products

Do you provide cleaning equipment and products?

For services like end-of-tenancy, carpet, and upholstery cleaning, we bring all necessary equipment and products. For standard cleaning services, clients typically provide basic equipment. However, we can supply cleaning products for an additional fee of £16.

We use professional-grade products, including PROCHEM for carpets and upholstery, and BS EN 1276 certified virucides for disinfection, ensuring effective and safe cleaning.

Yes, absolutely. We offer eco-friendly and pet-safe cleaning options upon request. Just let us know when booking, and our team will bring products that are gentle, non-toxic, and safe for children and pets — at no extra cost.
